Sound Influence

Hi folks, have you ever wondered why nature responds to your call? Haven't you walked in tears while its raining? Haven't you come across a cool gentle breeze when you are happy? If yes, these aren't strange coincidences. Its mother nature's way of comforting you. But what do we give her back? Pure garbage! I'm trying to elaborate on how sounds influence our body and mind. Nowadays we listen to all kinds of music raging from pop to hardcore death metal. You may not notice these small nuances in your system but these sounds will have a tremendous effect on your body and mind. The mind is so very powerful that the vibrations in the environment can be attuned by it. But you give the mind more than what it can tolerate. Hence it results in the opposite effect of your mind getting tuned by these music. The amount of adrenaline that is produced in the body, if it does not find any usage will adversely affect you. Imagine a situation where your mind turns into a rampagin

Who is controling whom?

Ladies and Gentlemen, have you ever wondered why its always 'Gentle' men and not just men? The emergence of the feminist movements across the globe has indeed helped the women if you go by the saying "strength in numbers". Chivalry is not dead my folks. Don't take me as a male chauvinist too. I respect women a lot. In fact I try to see every woman as my mother. But I'm constantly being let down by the women around me. It all comes down to a big irony that women who complain about them being objectified actually are submitting themselves for objectification. Men are physically stronger than women. I hope that no one would object this fact. The exertion of this physical power on women has resulted in them being mentally stronger. The sad fact is that the men nowadays are becoming more feminine in nature due to this mental strength of women. This is true even with the roles played by a mother in a boy's life. Boys are raised to be mentally weak these days

Pirates of The Caribbean

The idea of the character named Jack Sparrow got into me the moment I watched him on the screen. All the five movies in my opinion are top notch. In light of the recently released  movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales", I would like to point out a few things which I noticed. This tale gives us the details on how Jack Sparrow became "Captain" Jack Sparrow. The moment he was conferred upon with this title, we can see his amazing 'spontaneous plans' in action. I use this term to indicate that his maneuvers are a mixture of both luck and grace. The idea behind jack's character to me, seems as though they are trying to say that, even a really skilled man can be given such a derogatory term as that of a pirate. But Jack always is "drunk, with a smile on his face". The film takes up multiple issues like religion, role of science, contemporary English society, Gender and so on. This film critiques the religion for not accepting

Ways of the Mind

Human mind is what we acquire or rather gather from our immediate surrounds. Sounds a little strange? It isn't. The accumulation of all the tendencies which are innate as well as acquired makes the mind unique in a way. But if you delve deep into your own psyche you will find an amazing and astounding connection between the mind and the surroundings. By the environment I mean not just the things around you. The humans and other organisms around you also contribute or influence your mind. It is like a never ending conversation between the world and your world. The Hindu saints are known to have renounced the world. Renunciation here is not the literal world but the metaphorical one which is the kind of imaginary notions that all of us have of the world, which becomes our world. Hence they renounce their mind and live as one with the universe. The point here is that the minds are connected. There are different aspects as well as stages of the mind. If you take a look at the Veda

Dual.

Dream of a Reality inside a Dream Caught between the worlds is too much of a shame Ignorance is wildly too profane For this beastly world there is a cane. Split me in half for you to see The god and the devil in me For one cannot solely exist in time; Beyond the horizon I shall frame Inglorious is this duel for mankind I shall pledge my soul be it too kind For you to see I remain In the heart of your hearts forever in chain.

Sweet Sorrow

A dirge on a lonely night, Across the sea in sight Flew from a dead man’s mind, Into the world unkind. She heard it in a dream “Ah! Lovely mournful charm!” Too sweet to be true, she said So true to be sweet, foresaid. Soon all heard it with wonder In every cry and thunder. Till it returned to the man And set him free of every ban.

FIRE LILY.

Behold her, single in the field, The rarest of them all What a man should yield, Be enough for your blistering soul? Burn the crude fervors of the world The ashes be your strength The wind that blows soft and cold, Merrily, carry your wealth. On the pyre though you be dead, Shall rise again. The flames that you left undead, Shines on till thou art born.

MIRRORS.

I can follow your actions Put me to sleep wherever you go. Share your pain, happiness and what not? Break me and see yourself shattered But I know what you really are. I have seen you in all your shapes and forms. Call me a mirror Can you call my images real or fake? But they say: “A mirror never lies.” Ha Ha, can u tell the difference? Between you and me? Come inside, just to see What I see. Matter not to me, Black or white I see the human inside That makes me a god for some!

Flare.

The moonlight is shimmering down upon us The darkness is oblique Ravishing night does not take me Or does the day? Limitless I am as the universe; Whose glory can never be sung. The light that burns within us, Outwit them all Be like the fire, Quench the desire. Eternal I shall remain.

Me, I’m not.

I cannot but recollect, Transient memories of the past In blindness I lived, My heart was cold with apathy. Now I see the truths! Universal and the one that remains. Forever I shall plead: Mercy and Gratitude. For learned I shall be. Misjudged, Revelation, Promising.

Holy Earth.

A Dog, caught in a tempest To her it was a conquest Seemed to her no more, Normal; Rather a paramour. Her eyes were black (Black Eye) Unleashing trepidation on earth back, From Eden to Hell Leaving morbid creatures here to dwell. It barks upon the elephants Who see it like infants. The one that strives, needs no attorney And eternity defines its destiny.

ONE LOVE

The Sun fell in love with the Moon Earth stood watching. Scared was the earth, too soon If the sun came marching. Is it fate this immolation? The world cannot see it Beyond its desperation The end of my wit. Another day wont come When they get united, Mother earth did her sum And said, “God, Please keep them delighted”!

TRANSCENDENCE

Is it a Boon or a Bane? To Love thyself more? Mystical creatures, the lot of us. Is it innate or is it acquired? The masks that we wear Slaves to our own SELF ‘Pity’ The true self lies within; Under the blanket, Thick and Dark. So fret not my love, For I shall take you, Not to Paris or Venice To see things with your inward eye, All this will Perish: You and I. And the universe shall remain, Holding values many never knew, Nor they ever will. Selfish we are, the mortals. Forced by nature: Of humans and gods. What is better? To live, With or without your-self? Many choices, but all lead to one: The final fate that all have to endure When that hour has come And your case presented In the court of your mind, Flashes by, all your deeds From cradle to the grave Alone you will confront Your-self that you cared most. To defend or to prosecute? That my friend, Is the choice of your life-time.
